According to HSEB rules, the Office of the Controller of the Examination needed to distribute the outcome inside of 90 days after fruition of the exam, yet this time it was not distributed till six months consequently the work execution of HSEB was being referred to.
The annual calendar published by HSEB had set the deadline of mid- November 2015 to announce the result as the exams were held in two Aryal, Acting controller, OCE, said that as many as 119,916 regular students passed the examinations. He said this was 49.20 per cent of the total 243,731 students who had taken the tests. He stated that 43,983 students passed the tests in the exempted category, which is 34.65 per cent of the total 126,930 candidates.
The Board has published results of students from various streams, including Science, Management, Humanities and Education, who had appeared in the examinations.
The board further informed that those failing in only one subject could appear in the supplementary examination scheduled for February 12.
In the second phase, the exam was held in the seven quake- hit districts from July 9, 2015, while students from other districts had taken the exam in first phase from June 16, 2015.
